Wynr is a school rugby prediction game built around one simple question: Who will win?

The Game

For every official school fixture, players predict the winning team and the winning margin. Points are awarded based on accuracy — from picking the right winner to calling the exact margin.

Wynr is school-centric. You only predict fixtures involving your own school, keeping the competition authentic and grounded in real rivalry.

Profiled Fixtures

From time to time, Wynr features special “Profiled” fixtures. These highlighted matches appear for all users to predict, regardless of school affiliation.

Profiled fixtures are shown as gold cards on the Predict page. Predictions for these matches contribute only to the Global Leaderboard and do not impact School or Community Leaderboards.

Leaderboards & Rivalry

Wynr features multiple leaderboard layers so everyone competes on a level playing field:

• Global Leaderboard — compare yourself across all schools
• School Leaderboard — see who really knows rugby at your school
• Community Leaderboards — staff, parents, old boys, and learners

Learners are further grouped by grade, ensuring fair competition within each year group.

Fair Scoring

Not all schools play the same number of fixtures. Wynr solves this by ranking players globally using a percentage-based score rather than raw points.

This rewards consistency, accuracy, and commitment — not just volume.
